I will share the picture after it has been pubished, it is for the August Edition (if it gets used LOL)
While I was there when we were fetching the horse this little turtle was waddling through the thick grass heading back to the small lake they have on their property, so of course I had to get pictures of it. It turns out to be a Midland Painted Turtle . Quite a cute little critter.
Poor little Taxes got the snip this afternoon and is not a very happy camper. He must be really sore, I have to keep him stalled until Monday which I have done in a stripped stall with new straw in it, then start working him on the lunge line (running in circles around me while I hold a long lead rope) for 20 minutes twice a day. I hope he forgives me.
Well it is going on 10pm and I have only just got started on stuff on the computer, needed to re-edit a few pics from last Sunday's shoot which I have done and so far we are up to date with the picures they need. The rest are not going to be urgent so we will be able to allow a bit more time for those.
Well that's it folks, hope you are having a good weekend. We had a beautiful day with one hard shower which was only about a quater of an inch if that, but wet the ground for my pasture grass seed nicely. (((Hugs)))

I do visit and I do comment and I was here. I did look at your picture(s) and I did read what you wrote about them. I could say how great you are and how beautiful your work is but alas I would soon run out of things to say on the next blog I visited, so I just left this to prove I stopped and said a few words on Sunday.
My Rheumatoid Arthritis hurts.
Hi Lori,
Wow, that is a cool picture, and it's *so* cool that you wander around and... you know, find a beautiful turtle just like that. :-)
Hey Lori. Sorry I didn't get to catch this last night. Family time. Neat turtle. He's a little bit smaller than the one I rescued from the middle of the road when I lived in Florida. I think he was a box turtle, but not sure. Don't you need a pet turtle?
